Last week on Wednesday November 17th, we had a guest lecture from Todd Ramsey one of the co founders of Yeti Farm Creative, a Kelowna based animation studio. Todd told us his journey as an animator and how he started to find his passion for animation, also his own difficulties with pitching his own ideas and the eventual rejection of his creation. I also learned about the process of getting a show green lit and how work can't begin until a show is green lit on paper. It was really interesting to hear what its like in the current industry and how much effort you need to put in for your own ideas to even have interest expressed in them.
Hello this is the very first post here on my blog. I'll start by introducing myself. Hi my name is Liam, I'm a collage student currently learning to become an animator though I also want to become a comic book artist and writer. I'm a fan of anime, video games, movies and I own a massive manga and comic book collection. This blog is going to be for documenting my experience as I make my way through collage and collect my work in one spot.
